My Key enhances the hotel check-in experience by providing a simple and secure mobile key solution. Users can add their profiles, seamlessly book accommodations at participating hotels, and have their reservations automatically integrated into the application. By utilizing the app, guests can unlock their hotel room doors by simply holding their smartphones against the locks, eliminating the need for traditional keycards.

The service is steadily gaining support from a broad network of hotels and integrates smoothly with mobile check-in processes and kiosks offered by Ariane. This allows users the option to utilize both traditional keycards and mobile keys, providing flexibility and choice in how they access their accommodations.

My Key operates on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology provided by dormakaba Mobile Access. There are plans to expand support for additional technologies and suppliers in the near future. The system ensures that hotel reservations are securely matched using verified email addresses or mobile phone numbers linked to the user's My Key profile, while maintaining strict privacy protocols—no personal data is shared or used for any other purpose.
